In both our ministry and our lives, we endeavor to exalt Jesus Christ, edify and equip His saints, and evangelize the lost. Looking at the gifts, training, and desires God has given us personally, we believe that we can employ them best in areas of administration, service, counseling, and teaching. We also believe that all ministry should be connected with a local church that follows, reveres, and preaches the Bible as God’s perfect Word. Practically, we see our role as one of church-strengthening.
We see every interaction we have with non-Christians as an opportunity to give testimony to God’s saving grace to all who repent and believe. As our church members grow in their love for the Gospel, we aim to provide opportunities for them to proclaim it to others too. Additionally, we aspire to help the church demonstrate Christlike compassion to our African neighbors, that unbelievers might see our works and glorify God.
Finally, we hope to help plant other churches by training Malawian pastors and church leaders. Ultimately, our goal for the future is to work ourselves out of a job, having entrusted our ministry to godly Malawians who will faithfully shepherd churches across Africa according to the Word of God.
We are grateful to be under the leadership of the elders of Grace Community Church and their sending branch, Grace Ministries International. We greatly appreciate the wisdom and counsel of our sending church, and are excited about their support and involvement in our preparation for ministry in Malawi. We affirm and hold to Grace Community Church’s doctrinal statement, which can be found at gracechurch.org.
